Young Voices will attempt to break its own Guinness World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Sing (current record 293,978 people) on 15th June 2021, streamed live from The O2 arena in London. As the flagship event of Children’s Mental Health Week, hundreds of thousands of children, their teachers and families will have the chance to come together all over the UK to sing or sign with special guest artists to raise vital funds, top the charts and set two new Guinness World Records Titles.

Young Voices 2021 – 25th Anniversary Celebration at The O2 arena on May 17th
‘We share a common goal with our teachers, ‘to enable children to have the most amazing all year round musical experience!’

 

 

Our school choirs will be attending Young Voices 2021 and we have been able to begin rehearsals within our choir bubbles. They have a lot of  material to learn so we have been given the access codes for them to learn at home.

Scott Wilkie presents ‘The Wizard of Oz’ 

 

Year 6 have been given the opportunity to perform the school show this year and we have chosen a retelling of ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Rehearsals will be within the after school clubs for Music and performing arts with Miss Sanders and Miss Blackwood. Should your child wish to take part, please contact the office to sign up for the club.
